Some of Yukiko’s students like to follow the formal pattern of Japanese learning, progressing through their kyuu and dan levels. Yukiko can help you to join Nihon Shodouin (Japanese Calligraphy Association) and begin this journey.
Students must send their work to Japan every month for examination. Members receive the monthly magazine (in Japanese only) and can view calligraphic examples, as well as see their achievements published.
Please contact Yukiko for more details.
Nihon Shodouin was founded in 1952 to promote Calligraphy in Japan, it was government recognized in 1956.
