One of my students in the UK asked me to meet up in Tokyo and go to see a Japanese Calligraphy exhibition. I proposed to we went to Japanese Calligrapher Tsuneko Kumagai Memorial Hall in Ota ward.
The Memorial Hall is where she lived. We saw her beautiful Kana calligraphy.
My student was impressed by the calligraphy and is glad to learn Kana calligraphy in the UK with me.
If you are intrested in Kana calligraphy, I recomend that you go there.
I run Japanese Calligraphy workshop at Emmanuel College in Cambridge on 10th March.
I took my calligraphy items and showed there.
They were impressed to see the beautiful wooden box, I am proud of have it.
I hope that yesterday’s high school students enjoyed and learnt from their workshop.
I would like to thank my students from the Nippon Club class who came to support me for their help.
I held a Japanese Calligraphy workshop in the old library in Emmanuel College.
My students came to Cambridge and supported me.
We had a good time and it was a valuable experience for us.
